Equipping churches in Middle Tennessee
to safeguard the vulnerable.

Free Luncheon — August 25, 11am-1pm

Hosted by North Springfield Baptist Church, 4732 US-41, Springfield, TN 37172

Churches should be places of safety, healing, and hope—especially for children, students, and other vulnerable people entrusted to our care. Yet abuse can occur in ministry settings when awareness, policies, and safeguards are lacking.

Join Harvest Baptist Association for an extended luncheon focused on helping pastors, staff, and ministry leaders better understand abuse prevention and response within the local church. Together, we will explore what abuse is, how it impacts individuals and congregations, and practical steps churches can take to create safer ministry environments.

During this luncheon, participants will hear from experienced practitioners in abuse prevention, law, and law enforcement, while also learning about resources available through the Southern Baptist Convention's Abuse Prevention & Response initiatives.

Whether your church is developing policies for the first time or strengthening existing practices, this gathering will provide valuable insight, practical tools, and meaningful discussion to help your church care well for those God has entrusted to you.
